A short half hour drive from Brisbane's CBD is where you'll find Sirromet Winery and this magical experience. This magical night takes you on a sensory stroll covering just over one kilometre to soak up the magical soundtrack, lighting and encounter creatures like Hippogriffs, unicorns, and Nifflers.
Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

Why It Sparked Our Imagination

It's already been seen by 2 million visitors across 9 cities worldwide, including 160,000 in Melbourne, this is what we encountered along this illuminated trail.

  • Themed Treats + Magical Atmosphere
Before even entering the forest, the butterbeer and Hogwarts hot chocolates set the tone, warm, comforting, and full of Hogwarts spirit.

  • Story Moments Come Alive
As we walked through the immersive forest trail, we loved stopping to read snippets from the books that corresponded to each new section. It felt like we were walking into the pages of a story we already loved. Moments like casting a Patronous charm put a little twinkle in our eyes!

  • Music + Nature Magic
The Harry Potter score drifting through the trees, paired with a windy night full of rustling leaves, created a truly magical, even a little spooky, vibe. My 6-year-old whispered “I think the trees are talking!” and honestly, it felt like they were.

  • So Many Photo Opportunities
From casting Patronus charms to spotting Buckbeak and glowing mushrooms, we stopped at every chance for a magical memory. No need to rush the trail invites you to wander at your own pace.
